The Spotlight

March 11, 2008

We are taking the “interview” a little bit further than most. Why? Some people just kick ass at what they do. The Spotlight will be updated weekly, some weeks we will feature two people at the same time so read fast.  This isn’t a 10 minute quick look at a blog to determine a 1-10 rating.

Once a week we are featuring a blogger who does things a bit different from the herd. The spotlight is going to give you a deeper look at how an individual was able to get to the level they’re at and give you some ideas as to how they plan on getting to the next .  This is going to be done is several ways.

  1. We will look the blogger or in some cases the bloggers
  2. We look at the blog
  3. We look at their social profiles and online presence
  4. And whatever the hell else we want

We aren’t going to be interviewing the bloggers who fit in and spout the same crap so and so had on his blog yesterday, nope. These people have to have some class and social responsibility to make our cut.  If you would like to nominate someone, even your self if your not scared, contact us

How do we qualify class and responsibility?  These people all have some common traits, they

  1.  Tell it like it is
  2. Publish content that isn’t regurgitated from the main stream ‘tard babble
  3. Honesty and ethics
  4. The nerve to be your self and come off as an individual
  5. Do all that without being a drama queen “just flingin mud”
  6. Oh, almost forgot the most important, have something intelligent to say

Income Online

Stop, Plan Your Online Business

Making money from the couch and setting up income streams from the couch is a lot easier than people on the internet say it is. But it’s work, sometimes a lot of work but it’s worth it. There is a learning curve with an online business just like anything else. If you were to open a brick and mortar business would you go into that business thinking you don’t need to put in blood, sweat and tears? Would you start a new business you knew nothing about?

Then why would you do that on the internet? The only difference between online and offline business is the medium you use to get in front of your customers, thats it. Period. If you consider your self driven and are intelligent enough to make scrambled eggs you can learn how to make money on the internet. If you apply your self and try, you CAN make money with a home business that is based on the internet.

I will be writing several series on this subject that will include building a site, setting up affiliate accounts making your own products and marketing them. I have been full time work from home for a while and the majority of my business has been affiliate marketing. I will go into that extensively and then show you how I integrate my own products and new ideas thus putting “my eggs” in several baskets.

If you are brand new to the “make money online” scene and are completely lost here are 2 solid resources you should check out. I have been at this for a while and I picked up a couple of valuable tips from Shannon.

Branding Is As Important As…

March 11, 2008

Branding

Branding is as important as SEO, site layout, the products or services you sell, and all other aspects of internet commerce.  Whether you are an affiliate, selling you own products or service, or both.

The fact that your doing this on the internet doesn’t change that. If you opened a bar or club, would you want it to look like any other bar???

Nope. So, how do you distinguish yourself from the crowd?

March 3, 2008

Welcome back…

if you haven’t read Part 1 of How To Network With Other Bloggers: Part 1, this post won’t make any sense to you.

Yesterday, I gave you some homework, and these are some statistics you might be interested in.

If you did the homework before you read this, good for you. You have a 92% better chance of success. Why? Because its the Law of Action.

You can have the best intentions, saying to yourself ,”I’ll do it, I’ll get back to it. I will get it done.” But will you? The law of averages

says you wont. The reason people make it in business is because they take action on a decision, follow that up with taking action on

another decision.

I am not trying to beat you up if you haven’t done the “action” part yet… you will get it done - right?

Now that you have finished those tasks, let’s see what we are going to do with them. Now you have five new people who seem to fit your personality and your style, so you are going to take the next step in figuring out if they are the right match– before you spend to much time on this. Building A Crew?

March 3, 2008

Do you understand the importance of building a crew? How do you build one and with whom? In the world– and in internet marketing and blogging specifically, “He who builds the strongest and tightest crew wins.”

Full time income from the net is difficult. Having a group of people, a crew, to further the goals of each individual is imperative. Look at Courtney Tuttle for example. Who seems to be his crew? A couple of people are. Go see if you can tell who he works and hangs with.
