You want to blog?
What is your intention with it? Aare you doing it for fun? To share with your friends? To make money? Did I hit a nerve with the last one? Good!
You cant make money blogging?
Dont listen to the stream of “you cant make money blogging” bs that everyone is spouting. You have to do it right though. You cant jump in and think it will come easy. There is a lot of nonsense out there but the one thing they are all saying, if you know what to listen for, is blogging makes money.
Stop and think.
Think about it. You are reading a blog, that says “dont try to make money by blogging”. Retarded! Yes. Why are they all screaming this bs? Well the ones that are fit into two categories:
- Negative people who don’t understand it takes work, persistence, knowledge and time.
- Scarcity thinkers, these people are the worst, they are making money but scared that with some competition they will lose what they have built. The problem with that, is the fact that even in a saturated market, the person that can apply time and knowledge persistently working at it success will come. This is a common tactic among the make money online crowd.
Not everyone can.
I wont make an ass out of myself and say that it’s easy and that anyone can do it. I will say this, if your intelligent and persistent you can probably succeed at anything you put your mind to. If this describes you bear in mind there are rules and guidelines to making a paycheck online, whether you do so with a blog or a static website. I say go for it, we should all work from our living rooms.
But you can.
With any business there are the nay sayers and the scarcity thinkers… if you are either you probably wont succeed at an online business. If you have what it takes then don’t listen to anyone.

Landon, yes you can make money blogging, the problem is for most is that they don’t understand that its business and that will require work, real business does. I wrote an article very similar a while back titled So when do you make money” The short answer is when you WANT to, when you pursue it , get after it and work for it. I have never known anyone outside of the counterfeiters and the government who make money, I have known many who earned it, there is a difference
